I built this app because I was tired of mainstream note apps that felt too complicated. Writing should be simple and enjoyable. Our notes are an expression of our thoughts and they should be available wherever we are on whatever device we are using.

Feathr is a notes app built for the web. You don't need to install any apps and you can access the same features on any device with a modern browser, including your phone.

Your notes are also private. I can't read them because they are encrypted on your device. You can also password protect individual notes on top of that if you chose.

You don't need to know markdown to use Feathr. If you don't know what that is (there are more of you out there than the internet would have you believe), don't worry about it. Just type / and a menu appears to help you add headers, make a list or add a table. It filters as you type, so your hands never have to leave the keyboard.

Feathr is designed to feel simple so you can do your best thinking without interruptions, but it supports powerful tools to grow with you:

• Organize: Nested tags help you tag and filter notes to find what you need. Group related notes into collections, or what we endearingly call "Flocks"

• Connect: Link your thoughts together with searchable backlinks. Use templates to apply recurring formats quickly. Share your polished ideas with the world with a click of a button.

• Schedule: Add tasks that look like a checklist, but automatically snyc to a built-in calendar and support smart features like separate deadlines and scheduled dates.

Feathr is built by a lean team. We have no external funding which means we have no shareholders telling us we need to start converting our app into yet another business tool. Our goal is simply this: build a beautiful & accessibile notes app to help you write, reflect and grow.
